breaking inequality

There is a new video on You Tube called "Breaking inequality". At the beginning you see Ronald Reagan talking to congress and trying to picture what a trillion dollars meant. The way he explained it was as follows:

If you had a stack of $1000 bills 4 inches high in your hand you would be holding $1 million dollars. To hold a $ trillion you would have to have a stack how high ? Guess .



67 miles high !!!!!

In those days the US national debt was $1 trillion. It is now $16.7 trillion.

The video talks about a US wide petition being handed in to government on 4th Sept to lobby for return to a gold standard. It is interesting.

I think there is a good chance that gold will resume its bull market run ... Not least because Japan, Europe, UK have joined in .
