From what I understand, she is a Delegate from the US Government and has been leaning against the Greenlandic decision to lift uranium mining. I think she doesnt like the decision, but feels it is inevitable at this point. This is why you see her downplaying and speaking slightly on the negative side of things.

What I want to know is why is the United States is spending money to send a Governmental Representative to continuously speak in Greenland and across the world in a negative fashion about uranium mining in Greenland. The US Government should keep their nose out of this one. I live in the US, but I am sick of them getting involved with everyone elses business across the world.
