One of the most interesting things for me is that the sell down has been going on for months and we have yet to see any significant shareholder statements that would indicate majors are changing positions.

To my mind this indicates that the selling is either broadly distributed or that the majors are shorting and possibly squaring positions intraday.

Personally I think that SLR has become a market plaything because it has the right characteristics e.g. liquidity, price etc.

My other outside bet is that there is a takeover coming but my only reason for saying that is that this sort of action is so similar to what happened to IGR.

IMHO a capital raising would cripple SLR as far as shareholder value goes so I hope it doesn't happen.
