Can you explain to me what "inventories" are? My understanding is that the only assets that can be turned into hard cash are:
Cash=Cash
Receivables, if collectible.
Inventories when in the form of gold bullion.
Gold bullion was something like $6m at December 2012. Could SLR sell its "inventories" on market and realise $100m cash? It certainly could sell its gold bullion but $6m ain't that much to finance $79m in payables.
Also, part of the $79m payables is standard working capital. Only the company can tell us how much that is but I would imagine that $40m would be around the mark.
My sentiment is "none" because we are in the dark.
There is plenty that the company could but does not disclose. Bring on an announcment and don't have us speculate about "what ifs" while the share price is in freefall.
