"We oppose oppression in all its forms including racism, sexism, homophobia, classism and imperialism. We demand liberation and justice for all peoples. We recognize that we live in a capitalist system that favors a select few and oppresses the majority. This system cannot be reformed or voted out of office because reforms and elections do not challenge the fundamental causes of injustice"

    right on!!!

why is the positive sense of word "radical" nearly always seen in a negative sense - because the masses are generally ignorant and do what they are told to do
anything that interfers with our pavlovic drooling response is met with hostility, by us.

things are not heading in a good direction
in fact, if you are couragous enough to take some time out to reflect upon the pit of a hell hole that we are digging for ourselves, you will see that some sort of radical change is absolutely necessary to prevent us from completely screwing up everything for us and those that co-inhabit the planet
collectively, and generally speaking, what we have created by our compliance and consent is downright appalling and despicable

the best school teacher that i had was when i returned to school as an adult.
the 'teacher' basically spent the entire hour relaying his thoughts on moral issues - not one person in the class complained about him, and all payed attention to what he was saying.
and on top of that, he wasn't an angry person, but had a very pleasent demeanour.
although such awakeness is latent, or to various degrees, present, in all of us, people of such calabre are not so easy to find.
