The last hard commodity boom finished in the 1970's on the back of the industrialization of Japan, Interestingly Japan kept powering for 10-15 years after the commodity boom finished.
looks like it is taking some people more than 6-9 months to work out this last commodity cycle is finished.
Don't take my work for it just look at the mining service company downgrades in the last 6 weeks.
