from my reading socrates was clealy attracted to young men, or perhaps boys this was seen as acceptable (neither moral or immoral) then, now most of us would view that as immoral - that is the general mental conditioning that we have created. some cultures viewed beastiality as acceptable, consentual sexual relations between a human and a non human. an elephant can reach into the bum of another and eat it's poop. dogs have sex with cats so possibly, so what? in that particular instance, was any harm done? and if so, how much? - that is where morality comes into the picture.
