The biggest thing to come out this morning , Mr Roberts [our guy] opening line was that they wont be ready for trial in October and he thought early new year was more feasible. Mr Hoffman [their guy] was happy to go with either date

here are my notes , was difficult as they referred to document x para y and unless you knew to what it was referring you had no idea
" ëxtent of discovery does not at present extend to the value of the tenement. Need furthur discovery for valuation processes . Also important what date valuation was made .......read into this what you will......my take is that valuation is important if we win and seek damage...not valuation for purposes of a buy out or anything like that...
so for valuation we need more discovery of documents
no mention of higher appeal
hoffman "valuation would be expensive and time consuming"
they went on amendeding paragraph z and deleting [a] and [b] ..all seemed pretty well prearranged
I would think there is a lot going on behind the scenes between the legal sides....what, I really couldnt guess at
They decided to have another directiond hearing [hohum] 930 CST THURS 15TH AUGUST
We "are at liberty to apply for discovery for equitable compensation or damages"
HH Mansfield says there will be certain documents released to the public , have no idea whats documents
Had another legal person a Dr Higgins on speakerphone. I presume she was HG attorney...scottish woman if anyone is interested, she was consulted re paragraph thingamebob etc
Mansfield "happy to accept confidentiality and will let confidentiality on some matters stand atm but will be some court documents released to the public"when ? what documents? ......wouldnt get too excited as confidentiality not a big issue to the court it would seem and they are not referring to overall confidentality but only confidentiality of certain items [ie para x]specific to court matters
on a different note hoffman and roberts were chatting and laughing with each other b4 it started
