Dorak is right. The 'eye for an eye' vengeance in the Bible not only predates Christ, it was what Christ wanted to replace with a way of life consisting of "Love Thine Enemies".
If Christ came back tomorrow, he'd be flung into a Detention Centre, as his father on his Birth Certificate was 'God Almighty'.
His file would would by marked: "Another queue-jumper with delusions of grandeur"
Instead of seeing Muslim asylum seekers as dangerous vermin, we should let them in and teach them English (so they can get a job and be self-supporting) and teach them (by our loving actions) how we treat women and children.
We should not meddle in far-away wars but let the locals determine to live by the bullet (as they have done for ages) or live by the ballot which involves less hacking and blood-letting.
