dahab2, It was a mutual parting of the ways due to a clash of ideology between Volt and HC's posting policy (not on the XJO thread but elsewhere on HC). I do understand why posters may sometimes view HC posting rules as a bit strict but as a mod I understand fully the big picture and what goes on behind the scenes and why we must have those rules to avoid chaos. Nevertheless I was personally sad to see him go. But the door is never fully closed to a poster of Volt's standard. Hopefully one day, if and when Volt is ready, he might hold peace talks and come back. We have posters who have left in the past in far more dramatic circumstances come back to HC when agreement has been reached. This is largely thanks to Madmin who is a master diplomat.
