    ds,yes I was called a wog in early 60's(legally with papers),couldn't speak one word of English.used to peeeed me of being called wog.
    so I consulted my 2 dictionaries for help,and bingo.....I found my own definition for a wog...it was"western overseas gent".
    happy to say I've made lots of friends with the culprits,
    needless to say that my life has improved greatly.
    even my gr/kids poke me in fun.
