of course we have plenty of friends of different cultural backgrounds, skin ton and different accents and different praying practices because we are very diversified in Australia. And I know there are thousands of "moderate" Muslims in Australia (whatever moderate means) because the media constantly tell us that "our" Muslim population is far cry from the other "extreme" one - we have "moderate" Muslim people here. Therefore, I am truly amazed with the lack of ANY response from these moderate Muslim citizens to the shocking, barbaric murder of this beautiful young soldier in UK. WHERE ARE THE PROTESTS? Why there are no marches and speeches? ? Why are they all hiding and keeping numb??...silence is golden but in this case it speaks, no, make it screams - volumes. There were plenty of moderate Muslims on the streets every time there was a protest regarding some silly cartoon or 5th rated dvd staged by the "extreme" lot. Or where the people in those protests ONLY moderate and none extreme?..?..Surely if we had any extreme subjects in Australia they would be deported somewhere by now?..?..I am getting very confused with the whole thing...IF they truly are appalled (surely they are all appalled??) by what was done in their name they should be the first on the streets staging protests against it...maybe they are still preparing to attend those protests...wait and see
