The issues with DS tailings have existed well before Ramu, i suspect the reason why MGO management made this their base case and other infrastructure changes is it represented the best chance for a low grade project of being economic....so sure, it technically didnt require explanation but if you assumed the likely implications....anyway, i tried.
FMG sure, for MMC youll need copper at 5-6 lb plus imo for a number of years. For what its worth projects without grade advantage in PNG and Indo highlands may need these kind of prices to bring in new production anyway.
