I agree with Watson. The basic ingredients bought even from a supermarket are still cheap! Even chicken which is a great source of protein has not really changed price in over 10 years! We still pick it up for $10/kg from Coles but if that is too much the local chicken place has breast with skin on for $5.99/kg every day of the week. You can cook healthy chicken and veg stir fry 2 times a week, home made chicken schnitzel another day or 2 and a Thai or Indian curry another! These are all easy, heathy and CHEAPER than any take away junk.
