    ron, and yet one of the defining moments to the end of the NI conflict was the women from both sides getting together and saying "No more. We are all Irish, and we don't want any more of our sons/husbands to be killed for some stupid reason mostly lost in history. Nobody is winning this conflict, and nobody can." Sure, they received threats but they stood by their words, organised marches etc. Definitely the first crack in the sectarian deadlock.
