You're again missing the point PU very often at gap is a deliberate way of getting over existing supply and igniting the herd into buying and that's exactly what happened. The gap then represents a place where trapped in supply exists and will there for very very often be tested and closed. As they say nature abhors a vacuum.
Whether you believe it or not LYC has a very good history of closing its gaps and so it pays to be careful when one sits below the SP as I have stated a number of times.
