Pertamina Rebids Kamojang Geothermal Power Plant EPC Project

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) engaged in the development of geothermal energy, will re-tender engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of Kamojang geothermal power plant (PLTP) Unit five with capacity of 30 megawatts (MW) in Garut, West Java.
Adiatma Sardjito, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Geothermal Energy, said the previous EPC tender involved five companies, yet the five bidders that could not meet the requirements set by the company. "The execution of EPC was late because the previous bidders could not meet the requirements," he told FT.
