JHC - the LYC story continues and a lot gets posted whilst asleep - oh dear , oh dear.

I didn't see the share price posts until this morning, and yes the date was the settlement date - an unfortunate mistake for some to make.

I never suggested that your traded share prices were wrong and I believe you did trade on those days.

My problem is the amount of brokerage you claim to have paid, and that is why I only included a small subset of your original post, to highlight this.

You see my problem; you start of with the telephone brokerage charges of $30, and then clearly discover internet trading at $20, and your last 4 posts have the correct brokerage at .011%. The big issue is the $50k trades at $20 - not possible, IMO.

Westpac tell me retail customers, unless trading in millions of $ per year will pay standard fees.

Now I don't buy the story of doing lots of business with Westpac, otherwise why did they start charging you the correct rate for trades later in the same month?

For the record I attach the full screen shot as you posted to justify your original claims.

Something has gone very wrong with Westpac computer systems, or they are really changing their fee structure during the month based on your very high level of business, or you made a mistake somehow with your screen shot. IMO it would be most unusual for a broker to put your costs up during a month if you were doing millions of $ of business with them.

I raised this a few times and you did not reply. I also asked if ANYONE was getting this deal at Westpac, as I'd like to get this deal as well. I don't recall anyone claiming to get this sort of deal. Is anyone getting this sort of deal?

You see my problem, if the brokerage is correct then all of the $20 deals must have been for less than $18,000 worth of shares. It is a conundrum and causing great confusion.
