Sharks you know I didn't say that - I simply pointed out that Warren Buffett's long term investment strategy (simple to understand businesses with strong market position, profit margin, brand, steadily increasing long term cashflows e.g. Coca cola / McDonald's / some of the US railroad operators etc etc etc) lends itself to staying in an investment when the chips are down because those sorts of stocks invariably ride the cycle, which is not an appropriate approach to exit strategy for small cap oil explorers (whose stocks prices are driven by completely different factors eg oil price, exploration success, recovery factor, capex per well, etc etc etc).
I never said don't invest in small caps because Warren Buffett doesn't, which of course would be a ridiculous assertion as not everyone has his investment strategy.
