Ok did the back test on the Aussiebulls recommendations for Lynas over the past 12 months.
The rules I went by were:
- As the information is given after trade I acted on their recommendation on the open of the following day.
- If there was a short recommendation I sold.
- I used the same dollar valuation in each trade.
Over the year there were 16 buy/sell recommendations after performing the task after the year was up I was 43% down on my investment.
Over the sixteen transactions only 4 proved profitable.
Could I back test it differently ?
At this point no magic bullet sorry to say
