It appears to me that certain sectors of the Australian public still have a lot of growing up to do. These txts just prove that there is still an element who seem to think its funny to pass on these sick jokes , proving that there is still discrimination and prejudice towards our indigenous people. I haven't seen any of these txts or emails, so it would suggest to me that it is your group of friends and contacts that needs to change its attitude.
I doubt if Goodes intended to pick on a 13 yo girl, particularly as he was in a contest heading toward the fence, he wouldn't have had time to isolate the person. In the heat of the moment he heard a comment and decided to act upon it. Good on him. Its woken up a few people about what sort of attitudes there are in Australia.
