Yes, H5N1 has already been passed from human to Human; once in Thailand a year ago and once in Vietnam at the start of this year. Both instances were snuffed out by treatment of those exposed with Tamiflu. These were probably not robust and virulent strains of H5N1 - but it demonstrates that H5N1 is on the brink of a robust transition to human to human.
