TTYY I work in the telco sector, and primariy the people in my company involved in property use Nearmap. A team of about 5 people save on many interstate trips a year by having access to up to date aerial photos, and also find the high frequency of timeline photos useful.

They can't work with out of date google earth images or similar that can be 2, 5 even 10 years old, they need to know what is there right now.

In another post here somewhere, someone mentioned that Western Power save a headcount of 15 using nearmap.

This magnitude of savings justify paying a high price for this service IMO. The 'like to have it' users like the pool installer mentioned above, are not in this category, and could use google earth or similar. I do agree that having a pay per view system for low volume users would be a good idea if able to be implemented without destroying the higher yield customer base.
