Is this the typical PC nonsense we are going to get from the Australian Guardian. Our pollies are elected to attend to the needs of the Aussie public and NOT the Indonesian public. Kow towing to the Indonesians pollies will get us nowhere. This Aussie Labor Government is committing the same offence that previous Federal Governments which allowed the Indonesians to invade kill and torture thousands of East Timorese.
The new Federal Liberal Government must make it very clear to the Indonesians that it intends to stop the deluge of illegal migrants into this country using Indonesia as a stepping stone. And Indonesia must play it part in stopping the thousands who arrive on its shores by plane, who use it as a transit to secure endless Welfare from the Australian taxpayer.
