Exactly, the ones with common sense and an understanding of how an economy works predicted these abhorrent taxes would impact directly on the mining sector....
To ensure that their bottom lines weren't impacted by the MRRT the smart business people (BHP, RIO etc) pulled the pin on projects and waited for this high taxing govt to be moved on. watch the projects get back on track from sept 15th!!!
