Once the mining boom finishes the royalties will dwindle and so will the jobs also going to indigenous workers in the mining industry. Maybe if better regulated then a return to employment of indigenous workers by Pastoralists/ranchers would help to alleviate in a small way the social problems. ALso more promotion of their artwork as a marketable product which makes Picaso look like a novice would be a good start. Giving hand outs of money is just taking away their dignity and self respect.
