I think you are getting a bit emotional about the birdflu epic.
You have to realise that we are here to invest , trying to make money and trying to invest in companies that wil give us good returns.

Thats what we have been doing on this board nothing more and nothing less.

In the meantime if you want to talk about the emotional side of this bird flu pandemic then I can share that with you.

I can only speak for myself but will tell you that I do not like the whole birdflu situation at all.

First of all because I have a passion for birds. I have been breeding many birds in my live mainly poultry and rare ornamental pheasants.
Many of my friends who share this passion with me will face again the fact that they will probably have to see their birds being killed to stop this pandemic.

Rare and irreplaceble birds will have to be killed which we tried so hard to breed and eventually if the numbers in captivity are big enough to release them back in the wild.
It makes me very sad indeed to see all of this happen once again.
In 2003 we had this scenario in holland and the memories by the many dedicated breeders who lost all of their birds are still vivid.

We had more then 30 million birds killed by the authorities being rare Ornamental pheasants , ducks,poutry and other birds.

Now this is only the bird side of things for the human side you probably feel that you have more in common.

I believe no one and certainly not me would like to see loved ones and family die because of a bird flu pandemic.

For myself I still do not see this happen but realise we have a chance that the virus mutates.

If it does mutates it will be the question how strong the new mutation will be.

If it is going to be strong then we are all in real problem regardless the antivirals we have.

I hope this makes you realise that behind these posts we have real humans who do have feelings , even if we focuse on the company itself and earning potential.

I for one hope that the birdflu will go away not only for the human misery but also for those millions of birds that will die or being culled in the process and some of them so rare that we can not replace them.
