Lynas get my tick of approval for this action. The way I see it, they are controlling production to maximise available profit from available demand. The positive lies in the apparent capability of the plant to perform to its expected capacity. It is obvious that "some" have had this knowledge earlier on and have used this to advantage to trade on the short side. I believe that the SP has taken this into consideration. I also believe that the announcement clears up any doubt that production levels can be at those predicted. That must be a positive for the SP. Fundamentally I see a value in excess of $1 based on only the production from stage1.
Another tick for putting out the announcement before the end of the quarter.
