Savings rate in America is plummeting again, because REAL purchasing power amongst the American middle class has basically gone nowhere for nearly 25 years. You cannot grow an economy that way, and besides America cannot pay off it's debts without seriously debasing it currency, period. If money velocity starts to speed up, look out.
