Yeah. Latham surprised me with his honesty.

He actually impressed me somewhat, but I would NEVER consider him foreman material. Never a PM. Not like the rusted on lefties did when they voted for him. lol

I had to agree with him when he had to point out to the darling little thing in the audience that violence in the city street from late night drunken louts has nothing to do with punching someone on a football field in the heat of combat. How precious some are.

The violence in the street imho is largely due to the weak societal rules pervading in this era, where school teachers, parents, police and any authority figure have been emasculated by a dimunution in their ability to administer punishment for disobedience in all its forms.
A direct result of the PC / UN influences unfortunately.

Street violence is a direct result of lack of discipline froma young age where the consequences of ones bad actions go relatively unpunished.

Anyway, Emmerson was gob smacked when Latham admitted, to his credit, that John Howard had it right on border security. Again, Labor/PC/UN siclist do gooding tut tut brigade influence in unravelling a sensible, working method of treating the problem of illegal boat people. Economic illegal immigrants.

Best Q&A all year and I actually watched this one in its entirity.
