Companies need to spend a fortune to explore and prove up the resources, then go through all the red-tapes and then secure all necessary approvals only to discover that the projects cannot then proceed due to the protest by a small minority group. That is what's happening in Tasmania right now under our noses.
It is mind-boggling and unbelievable.
Australia is increasingly pricing itself out of the world market with high cost that is going higher and higher with each delay......although it is resource-rich.
Australia may not be the LUCKY country as it claimed to be.
