I have a particular taste in silver coins with the highest legal tender protection available anywhere in the world and that is in Australian RAM $10 coins. 0.5948 oz of silver a coin. Anything under $18 a coin I see as good value.

They are very hard to buy in any significant volume so yes I have been buying but small lots. I have been accumulating for a number of years now and will continue to in the future. Silver is more about positioning to avoid loss and preserve wealth first and foremost.

The trouble with P&Ls is in THIS real world, there is tremendous volatility possible. So much is out of the control of producers atm and volatility on either the cost or the revenue front can wipe you away in the blink of an eye.

The most important thing is manageable debt. Is the business able to ride through a downturn? Does it have enough equity to survive a prolonged downturn? Many stocks have entered this real economy downturn without adequate capital reserves and so we can expect to see firesales begin across the board in all sectors.
