As Schwarzenegger visits Australia, we list 13 things Arnie and Julia have in common
• You'll be surprised, and perhaps a little shocked!
The Australian PM on the left and a movie star on the right. Or is it the other way round? Oh, we give up...
OPINION: The Terminator and the PMinator. They're hanging out together this week and quite frankly, it's nearly impossible to tell which is which.
Are they long lost identical twins? Perhaps not, but they do have an awful lot in common. Like this stuff…
They're both weapons experts
One of them is lethal with guns, the other with knives.
They both think they'll be back
Though obviously only one of them is right.
Both love playing Kindergarten Cop
One of them in movies, the other with the Gonski education reforms.
Both have managed large economies
California is the world's 12th largest economy with an annual GDP of $1.73 trillion. Australia is 13th, at about $1.5 trillion. Say what you like about the Gillard government, but the Australian economy's still chugging along OK.
They're both excellent at carrying dead weights
One of them does it in a gym. The other in the caucus room.
True Lies
One starred in a film with this title. The other swore there'd never be a carbon tax under the government she leads.
Labour/Labor pains
One had nine months to get ready for labour in their film role in "Junior". The other has 99 days to get Labor ready.
Climate change
They're both believers, which puts them on par with pretty much every climate scientist on earth except the ones in the employ of energy companies.
The colour red
One starred in Red Heat and Red Sonja. The other has red hair, and some would say, red policies.
Strange accents
One sounds like a robot from an action film. The other is the former governor of California.
Both were born overseas
And went on to govern in their adopted lands. One of them even gained an actual majority in an election once.
They're tough as steel
One is a former Mister Universe. The other appears bullet-proof everywhere bar the polls.
Hasta la Vista, Baby
One of them said it in a movie. The other has voters saying it to them every day.
