AVB has announced the critical loan amount. The next $12m in equity has been made a lot easier with several interested parties. Its a bit like the chicken and the egg. The equity guys will want to see the loan amount and vice versa before they pull the trigger. The equity should happen quickly now.
I would imagine that the $12m would be very interesting to a more strategic investor who will hold the stock. I don't reckon we have any hope of seeing a placement to shareholders or a SPP. This should just go to one or maybe 2 insto's or one major conrnerstone now. AVB is a different company.
This major Brazilian bank has its eyes on Pedra down the track. Antas is the test drive for the bigger picture and building the relationship.
The buying of a second hand plant will also greatly reduce the build time frame and save us millions of dollars.
The management have always been a little conservative, so they will get this show on the road and hopfully surprise us on the budget and time frames.
