A lot of this is down to being an inexperienced player in risky markets (general E&C) just as the financial crisis hit coupled with the slowdown from the traditional opco (drilling - especially coal - services) due to both China slowdown and American coal dumping (displaced by US Shale Gas) hitting Aussie coal mining sector. Some bad luck there too.
