"We have successfully completed negotiations with a global pharmaceutical company for a major long-term supply contract for the Unifill syringe as referred to during our last earnings call. I can advise that this contract is finalized with all terms having been agreed upon by both parties. The formal process of having the execution copy of the contract signed is now taking place, and we have been advised by the customer that it may require an additional few days or weeks to complete."
Same old same old.
Alan Shortall should not be using words such as "successfully completed" "contract is finalised" until a contract has been signed by all parties. ASX/ASIC should be right on to this.
There is no finalised contract until the thing is signed. Unilife would have no legal right to sue on the contract or seek specific performance of the contract until it is signed.
Shareprice will slide until a signed contract is announced.
