Rudd's massive ego won't allow him to face election defeat on 14 Sep, he has a perfect record as PM, 1 election, 1 win. Ego maintained, continue with all spin, no substance media profile as per Kevin-07.
Instead he appears more than happy to destabilize Gillard and Co, who of course deserve nothing less, firing shots from the grassy knoll and basking in the governments upcoming obliteration at the polls.
What better revenge for Rudd than to see Gillard humiliated and the union-green-Windsor-Oakshotte stranglehold on the ALP destroyed. Rudd probably thinks he can then strut in and pick up the pieces, sans union grip of the party, at beat Tony at the following election.
