I would have liked Lynas to continue with the defamation case.
I don't see any significant funds being used. And it IS in the best interests of the company.
SMSL spread blatant disinformation with the help of Fuziah Salleh hiding behind political immunity. Bankrupting SMSL is an investment in the future for other companies trying to start up legitimate businesses in Malaysia. It would make SMSL and its ilk realise that actions have con$equence$.
I feel this is another soft stance by Lynas. Didn't Nic admit that Lynas under estimated the impact of social media? Well...now they are under estimating that their olive branch will be thrown into the sewer.
I'll give it to SMSL...they have...and will continue...to run rings around Lynas. I tip my hat to Bun Teet and Wong Tack and Co.
