If you have been in India, and I did, you should know, and apparently you don't, that that country is a third word country .

Poverty there is widespread, with the nation estimated to have a third of the world's poor. In 2010, the World Bank reported that 32.7% of the total Indian people fall below the international poverty line of US$ 1.25 per day (PPP) while 68.7% live on less than US$ 2 per day.

Although the danger of famine has been contained deaths from malnutrition on a large scale have continued across India into modern times.

So the primary duty of the Indian government should be towers the economic development of the country through, among other things, massive investment in infrastructure to be financed by recourse to internal savings, savings that are currently BEING WASTED in the importation of gold.

Gold neither does feed its people nor can it be used to increase their productivity, the only way to escape poverty.

If you think that the primary duty of their government is to recycle back to you part of the wealth that "is moving from the West to the East" then you are just showing the clueless nature and lack of perspective of those in this forum that never had to do real work or encounter much struggle, having been born into an era during which we were privileged enough to make a living by playing a gambling game in the global casino economy.

Below is the picture of a child towards whom the India government should be directing that wealth and, imo, rightly so.
