HI EB, I did post under a different thread (see below). A simple line shows about 50% increase in profits with a drop to about high 80s. Your comments on hedging are very valid and this may take another 6 months to fall through to the net figures, but if the RBA are true to their words then we can expect some serious advantage over the next year based on AU$ rate alone, all else being equal.

With increased sales (hopefully) and a falling AU$ rate this is looking interesting.

'Based on last year's numbers;
Profit 17.103M AU$
The exchange rate was 1.0241, and the EOY report stated;
Decrease of AUD to USD by 15% = +8.589M.
Today's rate is 0.9428, or a 8% reduction. A quick line through this, means about $4.6m increase had the new lower rate been if effect all year. About 26% increase to the bottom line.
