Endless, I am but a mere mod which means that if this was the CIA I would only have a level 1 security clearance. We mods have no access to people's real identity or their email addresses or such stats as you speak of. Admin has all that. I do know that post numbers have been down a bit but I don't think you need to be Einstein to work that out. I sometimes look at the latest post page I note the bigger time gap between the last and first post on the page...its even more noticeable late at night and on weekends.....I'm sure it's cyclical though and should the speccie market rise from the dead posters would probably return in droves....

It's a bit hard to say who has faded away because folks don't usually close their account they just stop posting...sometimes just for a while and sometimes for good...or sometimes they just post far less frequently. I guess on an anonymous site we don't always know peoples reasons and there could be a number of tragic cases of large fortunes lost where people just slink off to find a day job and to lick their wounds. Such failure is hardly something they would be shouting from the rooftops. I do wonder sometimes if people are doing as well as they would have us believe why they just up and leave. I wonder about a lot of things. As a mod I have to put out fires on threads where things aren't going so well and I never cease to be amazed at the vast number of stereotyped true believers on those threads who are all using the same cliched catch phrases just like the ones used by our friends the sea turtles. All I can say is that in a market like this a lot of people must get hurt.
