I hope you are right Dick. My wish is that the unions are left with a barely breathing body on life support, so ugly and disfigured that it will never be taken seriously again. They can own it as a proxy for the communist party. :)
A new party can then rise in the centre space left vacant or a moderate faction will pull the libs back from the right. I do not accept that they are "far right" now though.
