But of course with an economy like North Korea, which has no economy that isn't associated with the military or secret police, collecting data is so simple, there isn't any.
Totalitarian States are so simplistic one would think that a planned economy must be so efficient. But history has shown that experiment a failure. Myanmar's opening of it's economy shows that isolation doesn't work either.
It's a global economy now and those fat little despots are dinosaurs living in their own cooling hot house.
