    Gosh threads like these are depressing.

    It's usually always the same. "I had to work for everything I own today, so why can't these people do the same!! Why do they get free handouts at my expense through my taxes!!"

    Which is a fair point as you can't argue with someone who believes in principle you don't give people a free ride, even if their circumstances indicate they genuinely need that help and the help would make such a big difference in their lives.

    Although certified in this case seems to have a foot in both camps by arguing it's wrong for refugees to get Centrelink, while at the same time helping his (I assume) able bodied son get Centrelink because he can't find a job due to unions and regulations.

    Too depressing.

    And who keeps voting down all the sensible posts like the ones made by Misty and MisterS etc? I vote their posts up but they stay at zero??
