Here's one compiled by Dr. Ryan N. Maue showing global total number of cyclones peaking in the 90s (not 70s as previously stated)

Major cyclones have regressed from the early 90s.

So, the CO2 has been increasing, the emissions have been increasing, as has the emission rate since the early 90s - yet we see a declining trend in both the total number of cyclones and in the number of major cyclones.
