God said nothing about "touch", it was at this point i believe that eve added to the word of god. (which he commands us not to add or subract to the word)

That's a valid point, but remember that Eve wasn't there when God gave that instruction, only Adam was so Eve would have got it secondhand. Also look at how Satan operates and tell me it isn't the perfect representation of the human mind. :)
