I think what you are experiencing is responsible management kicking in.

Clive has been a little naive in the past by making announcements that have not been confirmed. (Danish deal, IEV revenues, and more recently, the now infamous paragraph being withdrawn from the yearly report - which I believe may represent an IEV revenue to be completed this quarter)

The way I see it, Clive is a people pleaser, who would love to tell everyone about what they have been working on, regardless of whether the contracts come through at the end of the day. His heart is in it & he wants to announce it to the world - nothing wrong with this, unless of course you are announcing it from a position of director of a listed company.

Richard on the other hand seems very conscious of the negative public perception that this has caused and is tightening the reigns in order to reduce this undesired affect on the shareholders.

Today was an excellent example of the expectations that have been built up by previous management styles. I wouldn't at all be surprised if we no longer get updates until the contract is actually signed off with a weld team in the air en-route.
