5shareholder I wasnt talking about the value of the ore in the dirt
I was talking about the volume of the actual ore in the dirt
while 3g/t Au may in value terms be similar to 2% Copper
3% copper in a tonne of dirt will be 30kgs of copper or 30,000 grams
vs 3 grams of gold in that tonne of dirt
So from a pure volume perspective the copper producer can operate inefficiently and loose a few grams of dirt here and there and it wont effect the bottom line too much
The gold company on the other hand could go broke as if it lost 5grams of dirt and those 5grams just so happened to contain the magic 3 grams of ore well then you get the picture
