So Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo DaVinci, Galileo, Renee Descartes, Isaac Newton, Charlie Munger and millions of unheralded polymaths should have just stuck to one thing only?
Butcherboy, the concept of anthropogenic gloabal warming is still at the "hypothesis" stage in Science. To tens of thousands of scientists, and millions of other thinking people, all the peer reviews in the world amount to a hill of beans when observations don't match the predictions.
If the IPCC were conservative, they would have set a shallower lower trend. But they didn't. That would take away a lot of the scare factor.
And who in their right mind would do anything to threaten their source of research funding?
