The technician I spoke to reckons this setup was a big improvement over the original design. He seemed to know what he was talking about. I think they were looking into covering it up with a insulated cabinet and then ducting air conditioning into the enclosure to minimise overheating issues. Apparently they've had a few "brown outs" as they called them. He mentioned bolting a fire extinguisher on the side of the lockers "just in case"
